Open auditions for community members ages 6 and up for roles in the newly reimagined production of The Nutcracker December 4-6 at the Victoria Fine Arts Center.

Nutcracker Performance Dates & Times:  

• December 4, 2026 – 9:30 AM & 12:30 PM
• December 5, 2026 – 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM
• December 6, 2026 – 2:00 PM

NOTE: ALL performers must be available for ALL performances. There will be NO double casting.

Audition Times

• Girls Ages 6-7 – 1:30 – 2:30pm
• Girls Ages 8-12 – 3:00 – 4:00pm
• Boys Ages 7-12 – 4:30 – 5:30pm
• Teens & Adults, Ages 13 & up – 3:45-4:15 (for Act I Party Scene)

Audition Information

• All girls should wear leotard with tights, ballet shoes or socks with hair in a bun.
• Boys and Adults should wear street clothes and tennis shoes, or dance shoes if they have them.
• A $75.00 fee with be assessed to each cast member.
• Adults and parents of children cast in the performance MUST attend a community cast meeting on Sunday September 27, 2026, Time TBA. This meeting is MANDATORY and should be taken into consideration before auditioning. Due to both the scale and newness of this year’s production, exceptions to this requirement can not be made – as they have been in the past.

Pre-registration is not required, but will significantly aide in the audition process.
